Michael Pappachan

Discipline: Physiatry

Dr. Pappachan received his medical degree from the University of Alberta in 2007, and went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Alberta in 2012. He is a certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He also has an appointment as a clinical lecturer at the University of Alberta.


Dr. Pappachan received additional training in interventional pain management through the Central Alberta Pain Rehabilitation Institute as well as HealthPointe Medical Centre. He completed his certification for fluoroscopy (non-radiologist) in 2012. He is currently the clinical lead for spinal intervention at HealthPointe Medical Centre.


His clinical interests include interventional pain management, spinal pain, cervicogenic headache, and general musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
