Chris Davie

Discipline: Rehabilitation Team

Chris is a graduate of the University of Alberta, with a Bachelor’s of Physical Education, and an Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association. Chris is also certified through the National Athletic Training Association as an Athletic Trainer, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He has received several certificates and extra-curricular training including: Corrective Exercise Specialist, Active Release Therapy, Sports First Responder, Selective Functional Movement (SFMA), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Kinesio Taping, DNS A, Muscle Energy Technique, Strain Counterstrain, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, and EXOS Rehabilitation and Performance Coach.


During his career Chris as been an Athletic Therapist in professional sports for 18 years. He currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Therapist for the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club in the NHL and was recently awarded for 10 years of service. Previously he worked with Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL), and various AHL teams including Toronto Marlies, Edmonton Roadrunners, Toronto Roadrunners, Hamilton Bulldogs, and the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the AJHL. His professional sport experience also includes the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club, Edmonton Trappers, and the Edmonton Cracker Cats Baseball Clubs. In addition to his involvement in professional sport Chris is involved as an amateur baseball coach in the Edmonton area.
