Carrie Mussbacher

Discipline: Rehabilitation Team

Carrie has been a Certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) since 2010, after she graduated from Mount Royal University with an Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy in 2009. Prior to that, Carrie completed her Bachelor’s of Physical Education at the University of Alberta, graduating in 2008. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology since 2008. Carrie’s post graduate courses include Osteopathic Muscle Energy Technique, Soft Tissue Release, and Sports First Responder.


Carrie has had the opportunity to work with various levels of athletics as the former head Athletic Therapist with the Edmonton Huskies Junior Football Team and the assistant Athletic Therapist with the Edmonton Rush Lacrosse Team. Her experience also includes varsity athletics with Mount Royal University, NAIT Athletics, University of Alberta Pandas Field Hockey, and the Golden Bears Soccer and Football programs. Carrie has also been heavily involved in high school athletics from 2011-2015. Through her personal training she has also had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients from adolescents to seniors.
